CNN Reports: Fred Thompson has Lymphoma
According to a source close to Fred Thompson, Mr. Thompson has a treatable form of lymphoma, says CNN.
This can hurt his hope to run for President in 2008.
What hope? Fred Thompson is a MEDIA contruct that has been shaped into a presidential hopeful. I know nothing about him...what has he done besides be a Senator? Has he introduced or backed legistlation? Has he held any leadership positions? I cannot believe this sudden buzz behind a man who simply looks "presidential"
Fred Thompson is the district attorney from law n order! Thats enough qualification for presidency. Other than his acting, he is the former Senator of Tennessee, a real life attorney, and a successful lobbyist. A finer resume than our current President.
