Edward's failed 2004 campaign will still haunt him should he decide to run in 2008. Receiving little to no publicity in the recent line of potential candidates, Edwards might surprise many people when it comes closer to election time.
I regard him as the white Obama - young, charismatic, and energetic. Only difference being Obama is the new kid in town, hence receiving more attention. But Edward's wife's ongoing battle with breast cancer may prevent him from taking the big step.
At this point it's anyone's game.
